Fitness 1st Daily Routine/Program Overview
All students will to the best of their own ability complete the following
during every physical education period: (Execute their
personal fitness plan)
 | Complete the self/student directed physical
fitness routine properly in a personal space. "Proper
Practice Prevents Poor Performance" Dr. Olcott |
 | Perform 2 -3 extra sets of both push-ups
and curl-ups, self directed,
to fatigue. Perform the next set after a 1
min. rest. |
 | Perform student choice self directed aerobic
activity for 20 minutes working to maintain your personal
Target Heart Rate while remaining under
control.. |
 | Once completed students, place equipment back properly, and are taught
a new physical activity to add, or not, to
their student choice list. |
 | Journal and Log entries are done for the
last 5 minutes of class on the computer to
enhance personal communication skills, reflective thinking, higher order
thinking skills, partner sharing, and self talk. Logs/Journals
include: time, day, activities participated in, duration in mile/steps,
Max HR, Feelings during exercises, and Reflective Journal Entry. (A
Daily Self Assessment) |
